Andiamo portrait

Leadership Influencer

andiamo

At 6 foot 3, Andiamo is quite literally a towering presence—and he knows it. This flashy Oldenburg from Germany has been reinforcing Anne’s leadership acumen for almost three years now, though he’d be the first to tell you (if horses could talk) that he’s still working on a few things himself.

ANDIAMOS LEADERSHIP LESSONS
aka his mane contributions

Boundary-setting and patience, subjects he’s intimately familiar with having spent considerable time on both sides of the lesson. He’s a reformed fence-breaker who used to believe the grass really was greener on the other side—quite literally!

His impressive size means every interaction is a masterclass in respect and clear communication because when you’re dealing with someone of Andiamo’s stature, safety means there is simply no room for ambiguity.

his confidence can be disrupted

Don’t let his commanding presence fool you, though. This gentle giant is incredibly playful with a sweet, slightly mischievous, and most definitely a cuddly side. While he is certain that all people want to be his friend and is typically confident, new situations can disrupt his focus.

Fortunately, steady and confident guidance from his handler win out over his inbred flight instinct, which reinforces his own confidence with calm and curiosity.

When he’s not busy at work, you’ll find Andiamo happily munching on anything green or unwinding with his buddy Archie. After all, we all need our downtime.

Anne with Andiamo

Andiamo regularly demonstrates
that sometimes
the greatest team members
are those who’ve had to learn
one boundary,
one moment of patience, and
one act of mutual respect at a time.
