Law firms need to establish clear structures and prioritize tasks to support their clients effectively. The owner of a law firm which was struggling to do these things contacted Arudia, to discover how Adaption-Innovation theory could help.

The firm’s owner had worked with Anne Collier of Arudia previously, and had encountered Dr Kirton’s work through her. She was aware that she was a highly innovative individual – meaning her approach to solving problems is unstructured – and that this may cause headaches for her staff, who were more adaptive.

The difference in cognitive style between the law firm owner and her employees meant that a lot of time was being spent ‘getting priorities straight’ rather than completing essential tasks. She realized that there needed to be more alignment in the organization – and we were brought in to help achieve this.
